Come bead your little heart out ~
at a MLBS Bead Soirée!

Bead Soirée
:
swä-'rA
Etymology: French soirée evening period, evening party, from Middle French, from soir evening, from Latin sero at a late hour: a bead party or reception held in the evening (or morning... or afternoon...)

Do you have an unfinished object (UFO) that has been sitting around the house screaming to be finished? Are you having trouble finishing an object because you need a little guidance? Or, do you just want to be among other beading biddies like yourself and like to eat free food?  Well then, this is the place to be!

The Main Line Bead Society has set-up bead soirees to help you with your UFO's. This is a forum where you can tap into the expertise of the group if you are having a problem with a technique, as well as, make new friends and have fun while beading, bending wire, and sharing new ideas.

Okay, so how does this work?

Beading parties are held at local bead stores and at member's homes.  Space can be limited so you must sign-up. To do so, please call the stores listed below or email the home owners for the date that you are interested in.  They will put you on their sign-up sheet.   Sign up sheets are also available at our monthly membership meetings for you convenience.

Current available dates are listed below.

There is no fee for beading parties; however, we do ask that participants bring a beverage, dessert or hors d'oeuvres to share with the group.

Would you like to host a bead soiree in your home or store?

Then Doreen Lester wants to hear from you!

Contact her at doreen.lester@verizon.net, so that you may discuss the
 date, time and seating capacity.
