Bernadette Montilla, the owner of Beadeologie, a bead store in Berwyn, Pennsylvania, has been in business for more than three years.  Bernadette, a former primary grade school teacher, learned the love of beading from her mother, a jewelry designer in Northern California.  After getting a taste of the joys of beading, she decided to open a store so that she could teach others how to get instant gratification from beading.  She saw beads as a medium to help others to connect with others and a way for others to express their inner creativity.  Through her business, she has created partnerships with local schools to enhance their curriculum with beading.  She also has helped numerous women and girls start their own jewelry-making businesses.
