"I visited a gem & mineral show in 1982 to meet a friend & the
jewelry & stones were not of much interest to me but the work that was
going on there was the hook for me. The show was in Virginia Beach,Va.
After I left the show I continued on down to the beach & began to pick up
sea shells & rocks & then I began to mimick what I observed at the show.
Over the years I have had instruction from a number of wire-wrappers & I
was able to get some good info from each of them. I guess the biggest
thing I learned is that there was no free ride----& that "Perfection was
