We are currently working on the next  3 workshops.

Following are the tentative details. The dates and times need to be confirmed with the Bead Shops.

Workshop #1 

Name: Intro  to Kumihimo

Description: The student will learn the art of braiding fibers and beads using the Kumihimo disc. This technique can be used to create necklaces, bracelets etc. The student will learn how to finish their braid with cones or end caps and findings.

Level: Beginner

Instructor: Carol Lepage

Location: The Bead Garden

When: October 31, 2010.

Time: 11:00 to 5:00 PM

Cost: $45 for members; $70.00 for non-members

Materials: A materials list will be provided. All supplies can be purchased at the Bead Garden.

Workshop #2

Name: Intro to Precious Metal Clay (PMC)

Description: The student will learn the art of creating jewelry elements using PMC. The student will learn how to shape, texture, fire and finish their samples.

Level: Beginner

Name: Intro to Fusing

Description: The student will learn the art of fusing using fine silver. The student will learn 3 different earring designs.  .
