Leslie Rogalski, an artistic and avid beader is editor-in-chief of Step by Step Beads, contributing editor to Step by Step Wire Jewelry, and editor of Step by Step Clay Jewelry, Step by Step Holiday Jewelry, and the forthcoming Step by Step Wedding Jewelry.  She travels nationwide to beads and craft shows representing Step by Step Beads and the other magazine in her group, which includes the mother of all jewelry magazines, Lapidary Journal.  As editor she also contributes time and energy to the shows sponsored by these magazines, including Bead Fest Philadelphia, Bead Fest Memphis, Best Fest Atlanta, Jewelry Arts Expo, and the new Wire Jewelry Fest Wilmington.  She holds a degree in illustration and design from the Philadelphia College of Art, now the University of Arts.  She was product designer for the Franklin Mint.  She has done freelance advertising writing, reporting, journalism and fiction and won two national short story competition prizes.  In 1992, she was listed in Who's Who in American Crafts for her unique wearables.  She is also heavily involved in children's literacy and teaches workshops in creative writing to youth.  Leslie lives with her husband and daughter in Havertown, PA.  You can email Leslie at: lrogalski@interweave.com
